Okay, I've spent probably the last week trying to figure out how to comment on your blog without signing up to do my own (I have nothing noteworthy to write about life in Denton when compared to S.Korea). Anyway, couple of comments so far...
1.) It's very clear now that you're a foreigner besides the fact that you look the part, what with filming unsuspecting S.Koreans in their day to day lives. Btw, do they not care if you film in these supermarkets? Guess not, if you're selling Kashi Go Lean for $15/box, I spose you're not concerned.
2.) What a job, conveyor belt-assistant, I wonder if that pays as good as an English teacher.
3.) So far you seem to be handling not having TV to watch, though I'm not sure what you do with your little free time besides blog and such.
4.) Corn on pizza? Really? And the pickles were a nice touch as well
5.) I'm recommending to all my friends that we check out your blog on a weekly basis, they all find it rather amusing and such, and of course I get to hear "Dude you and your brother act/sound/are so much alike". Whether that's true or not...
6.) Keep it up, and don't let the crappy water bring your clothes down aka crunchy.

Corn on pizza? Seriously??? Gross.
And is that $15 US?! Man, if anyone complains about pricing on our cereal....thanks. You just made my job SOOO much easier (you know I sell that stuff, right?)
Hope things are going well!
Alan;
You have missed your calling in life. You should get a job being a professional blogger. These Blogs are entertaining and hilarious. They are the talk of the entire family.
I wonder if the conveyer belt assistant works OT as the greeter/bower at the parking garage ?
Hey!! It's Tiffany!! I forgot my login for this so it may come up as anonymous. haha Glad you tackled the Korean washing machine, sometimes I have trouble with those silly american ones! :) Loving the blog!!
pickles and pizza-- nice. but i think you're eating entirely too much pizza, champ ! jk. i also forgot i wanted to comment on your fridge. beer, beer, oj and butter. NICE. at least korean beer has a super cool name !!!! :)
Alan - I've finally gotten around to spending some time on your blog and it's great! Just as your myspace blogs were, but now, with 99% more American-in-a-foriegn-land subjects! I'm just jealous that you get to gallavant around an Asian country. Quick question - did you use fabric softener when you did your laundry?
Keep up the good work! How will we in the states ever stay entertained??
