Discovering America, Part 3

It took too long for me to post this, but I've kinda been getting back into the groove again. Actually, I've pretty much been doing nothing for like 3 days, so this is just laziness. Anyway, here are some interesting statistics from my trip.

Trip Totals:

Miles - 4,14o
Days - 18
Driving Time - 62 hours
States - 16
Number of Stops for Gas - 20
Money Spent - $1,381
Hotel Stays - 9
Hilton HHonors Points Used - 67,500
Friends Visited - 11
Worst State for Cops - Louisiana (although I barely went through Ohio, the most notorious state in the U.S.)
No Cops at All - Iowa
Top Speed - 110 mph (only for a moment...)
Worst Drivers - Chicago (this wasn't even close...they're scary bad)
Prettiest Drive - West Virginia

And here are the last pics from the journey!

Oh Cliff, such a badass

Taco Bell at 3am. Good thing we called them first to make sure they were open. And Riegs flirted with the girl on the phone. Weird.

Just drivin...

2nd favorite pic

Virginia was a much prettier drive than most other states

Scary sign!

The elusive Dave. Nearly impossible to photograph

Finally made it to the beach!

My favorite pic from my trip

Hilarious. Dave and I decided that this should probably not be considered a real zoo.

Eh...

Driving through pretty much the entire SEC

Seriously, I was so tired at this point

Borrrrring

Stupid half-French sign

Scary bridge

I missed the sign right after this. It read "El Paso: 893 Miles"

Ahh Texas...

Almost HOME!!

The entire trip!

There ya have it! A crazy, fun and random adventure across the U.S. I highly recommend it to anyone with the time and energy. Worth every minute!! :-)
